Regardless of external circumstances, those who trust in the Lord Jesus are granted the priceless gift of grace and peace in full measure. This saying is by no means trite or a wishful hope. It also is not some early church teaching of ease and prosperity. It is a statement of fact: those who trust Christ have grace and peace already in full measure. Salvation is the evidence of this fact. So is being chosen by God. So is sanctification. So is being sprinkled in Christ’s blood. These are some of the many blessings showered on those who have been chosen by God.
