What does it mean to mother unbroken?
Sometimes we look to situations we can relate to in order to draw strength and inspiration. Unbroken is not a book like that. Unbroken challenges mamas from all walks of life to look at the Apostle Paul in his second letter to Timothy and see how living a life of service to Christ allows for strength in the worst of circumstances, unbridled hope, and eager expectation for the future.
The world is dark. It has been before. In the time of Timothy, Christians were jailed and executed for their faith. And yet, the Apostle Paul was so confident in the Gospel that although he faced this fate, he was completely unshakable.
This book is written to study the epistle in context and see the salient hope that all mamas have today. This book is to encourage women yet again, that God’s Word is, and always will be sufficient for every situation. For every season. This is a book I believe every mama needs to read, because it points women back to the timely truths of God’s Word and the hope found in Him.
Women live in fear. Women live afraid of the future for their children and grandchildren. This is an encouragement to push against that fear, to cling to the One who alone holds our children’s future, and to mother free from fear.
I hope it is a blessing to you!!
