“Learn with the Apostle Timothy the necessity of God’s Word to sustain your child through dark days, and the faithfulness of God in uncertain times.”
– Katherine Hager

The final words and last wishes of a parent to their child is heavy with meaning and impossible to forget. They encompass the wishes of the dying, and speak life to the precious one they leave behind.

The Apostle Paul lived in a time much like ours-a world unsettled by rampant evil, and many lived in fear. But Paul was a man who knew Christ and was ready to die for Him. It was in this volatile climate where Paul penned his final words to Timothy, his young protégé. He encouraged him to stand firm, to be fearless, and to depend wholly on the hope of the Gospel. His words are charged with the urgency that today’s mothers need at this moment.

In Unbroken, Katherine Hager unpacks the epistle of 2 Timothy, verse-by-verse, to inspire, encourage, and inform mothers of the importance of knowing Scripture for the benefit of their children and grandchildren. This book is perfect for mamas who are committed to training up their children in the Word of God in order to strengthen the bonds of generational faith, wisdom, and knowledge. As this world grows darker, followers of Christ have their work cut out for them, particularly mothers.

Join Katherine Hager and learn the skills needed to raise your children unbroken. Learn with Timothy the necessity of God’s Word to sustain your child through dark days and the faithfulness of God even in uncertain times.

A Study Guide for Exchanging Mirrors

Dig Deeper. This companion study guide for Katherine Hager’s Exchanging Mirrors allows for deeper study of 1 Peter. Explore the source text and consider cross reference passages as you grapple with the author’s interpretation of this Epistle.
Some key questions explored in this study include:
In what way does the Gospel promise us a better life? In what ways must we reject the desire to be empowered?
Why does Peter exhort believers to suffer in a godly manner?
In what ways does our culture reject the notion of gentleness today?
In Exchanging Mirrors, Katherine Hager encourages women to closely examine Peter’s claims about the gospel and its implications for a Christ follower’s identity. This companion guide will help readers delve the passage more completely, and personalize truths from 1 Peter
Hindsight is 20/20, but looking to the future is hopeful at best, or frightening at worst. For the one crushed by the grief of losing a spouse, the future often holds no allure or no dread of any kind. The one stuck in grief only seems to be interested in looking to the past. Indeed, he only seems able to look to the past.

Such was the case for Harry Stephen Hager in the weeks and months after the death of his wife, Patricia, in September 2020. Hager noticed that he could remember with brilliant clarity many of the experiences, positive and negative, of 42-plus years of marriage to his wife. Yet, while he knew that one of the hallmarks of the Christian’s life is hopeful expectation of a wonderful future, he had no interest in that future. He had no interest in what the rest of his life here might look like, and he had no interest in what life might look like in eternity.

This book is a record of the author’s progress through grief. It represents his journey in applying principles of scripture concerning suffering, contentment, grace, and hope. People experiencing any kind of grief, but particularly experiencing the grief of losing a spouse to death, will find guideposts for their journey in Sharper Eyes of Faith: A Widower’s Journey.
From Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ.
So begins the epistle of Peter to the early church, a group of Christ-followers facing imminent and intense persecution. In the face of certain suffering, Peter gave the encouragement of hope in the reality of the gospel. The gospel was, and is, the only source of stability in a world of uncertainty, and to the scattered believers this was their anchoring assurance.

Many women, however, are no longer content with this understanding of the gospel. Salvation has been repurposed as a self-improvement program or a means to having a happier life. The intersection of truth and deception forced by this worldview is blurred except when understood through the plumb line of the gospel.

In Exchanging Mirrors, Katherine Hager encourages women to closely examine Peter’s claims about the gospel and its implications for a Christ-follower’s identity.

Prayer will change your baby’s life

For many mothers, the job description of raising a little one, or several children, can seem daunting. Besides the never- ending to-do list, physical and emotional demands, and the eternal lack of time, there is the constant struggle of wondering – does what I do matter? Is there anything I can do to contribute to the eternal welfare of my child?

There is.

In Redeeming Mama, Katherine Hager meets mamas from all places in life and encourages them to walk through the Psalms and commit to a lifestyle of prayer. Through this six-week prayer journey, she models how mothers might start their prayer ministry to their families, and inspires them to use each moment to establish a spiritual legacy for their children.
